My academic path began in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, where I first developed a strong interest in archaeology.
In 2010, I continued my studies with a Master’s degree in Prehistoric Sciences at the University of Ferrara, where I deepened my knowledge of prehistory and field research in a more structured way. This trajectory was consolidated in 2017 with the completion of a PhD with European mention in Quaternary and Prehistory, carried out at the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona and the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution (IPHES) in Tarragona, Spain. This experience significantly expanded the international dimension of my academic training and research activities.
Between 2020 and 2023, I was a Research Fellow at the University of Ferrara, within the framework of a European Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (EF-ST) grant. In 2023, I further enriched my profile by acquiring skills in European project design, completing a Master’s in European Project Management (2021–2027) at the Europa Business School – International Education Division of DIARI BV, Amsterdam.
In 2024, I obtained the qualification of First-Level Archaeologist (D.M. 244/2019), awarded by the Directorate-General for Education, Research and Cultural Institutes of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
Since 2025, supported by funding from the Italian Ministry of University and Research, I have been working as a Researcher at the Department of Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the University of Milan, where I continue my research and fieldwork activities through interdisciplinary and international collaborations.
Current Positions Held
In addition to my work as a freelance professional and researcher, since 2024 I have served as Regional Representative for the National Association of Archaeologists (ANA), contributing to coordination activities and representing the profession at the regional level.
Since October 2025, I have also held institutional roles within the Department of Cultural and Environmental Heritage at the University of Milan, including serving as the contact person for gender equality policies.
Since February 2026, I have been acting as Academic and Scientific Coordinator of the framework agreement for collaboration with the Universities of Antsiranana and Toliara (Madagascar). I also serve as a Researchers’ Representative, actively contributing to decision-making processes and promoting an inclusive and international academic environment.

Designing, directing, coordinating, evaluating, and testing conservation, maintenance, restoration, and protection interventions for archaeological artifacts, monuments, contexts, and sites;
designing, directing, coordinating, evaluating, and testing conservation, maintenance, restoration, protection, transfer, and handling interventions for mobile archaeological artifacts;
carrying out inspection and monitoring activities on archaeological artifacts, contexts, monuments, and sites; safeguarding their significance within the development of new landscapes.
Directing Museums and Cultural Venues, Enhancing and Curating Archaeological Collections and Exhibitions
Directing museums or cultural venues, curating collections or exhibitions related to relevant academic disciplines;
directing, curating, and coordinating the creation, expansion, display, enhancement, and conservation of museum collections relating to archaeological artifacts, contexts, monuments, and sites.
Designing, directing, organizing, testing, evaluating, planning, and curating exhibitions and public access pathways for archaeological artifacts, contexts, monuments, museums, and sites.
Conducting Study, Research, Training, Education, and Outreach in Archaeology and Related Disciplines, and Disseminating Research Results
Directing, organizing, and carrying out study, research, dissemination, and educational activities in archaeology and related or connected disciplines;
teaching in the field of cultural heritage education and within tertiary education or equivalent levels.
directing educational services in museums, archaeological parks and areas, open-air/ecomuseums, superintendencies, cultural institutions (public or private), or local authorities operating in the archaeological sector.
